Jewelry treatment
Waterproof Jewelry
Your jewelry can withstand water, sweat and perfume. You can therefore also wear it in the shower, salt water and chlorine water without having to worry about it losing its color - you have a 2-year warranty on the jewelry's coating around these.
Waterproof jewelry cannot withstand:
Delicate & hard surfaces, such as when you rub your hand along hard surfaces that leave obvious scratches like sand or stones between your fingers.
The above and similar things will cause scratches and thus wear off the coating - this is not called a complaint, but normal wear and tear.
Silver Plated Jewelry
My 925S Silver plated brass jewelery all have an e-coating for better protection.
You should be careful with this jewelry in relation to water, sweat and perfume, as it is more sensitive.
Brass is a soft metal, and is most often the metal used for adjustable rings, etc. At the same time, you must be careful with hard and sharp surfaces.
It is super important to add that even if you have the same piece of steel jewelry with a gold coating, the maintenance is not the same.
My steel jewelry can withstand a lot more than brass jewelry. You can read about that just above.
925 Sterling Silver Jewelry
I recommend that you polish your real silver jewelry without plating over time, as it can collect dust and dirt.
To clean the jewelry, you can use a small scrub brush dipped in jewelry cleaner to scrub off the dirt. Be careful with hand force, though!
Then wipe them with a soft cloth, and the jewelry should be clean and nice.
I recommend that you purchase a small jewelry cleaning kit, however, you can clean your jewelry in an alternative way by using a fiber cloth and warm soapy water.
